I am so excited to be participating in the Town of Cary GLOW 2026 lighted sculpture exhibition. I have created a playlist of happy music for you to enjoy as you interact with my sculpture.

GLOW kicks off Saturday, January 11th! For those who are unfamiliar, GLOW is a series of temporary outdoor technology and light art installations in Downtown Cary presented by Academy Street Artwork Projects (ASAP).

Erik Beerbower is a North Carolina based sculptor and educator. His larger than life structures are often interactive and use color, form, and sound to spark joy, play, and wonder within the community.

During the challenges of our era it can be difficult to find the joy in life. Happiness takes time and presence to cultivate. This sculpture is both a guide and a reminder to look for happiness. “Find Your Happy Place” gives us space to reflect on all the good there is in our lives. Providing a beautiful place to experience the importance of finding joy and happiness in our day to day.
